That is pretty insane. Hubby and I are extremely open about our finances and luckily we're on the same page about it all, so no big deal. I usually take care of certain credit cards and he'll take care of other ones, and joint stuff we've all got scheduled on auto pay. People like credit cards because it masks the underlying financial condition and is the status symbol of the affluent.
