I am working on my net worth numbers for July and it is not looking pretty. I had hoped to do better that last month but due to the market "adjustment", things went a little backwards. I will post the actual numbers tomorrow once everything has cleared. Feeling a little discouraged right now so I won't write too much.

You, me, and everyone that has exposure to the stock market is a tad miffed right now. But remember that the market is a LONNNNNNNG term investment, and we've had a great run up over the past couple of years.
While it will negatively affect your net worth in the short term, you can't put it in the same category as paying off debt.
The stock market has averaged 10-12% annually over the last 100 years or so, but not without some short-term jitters.
