I'm a little late with today's "Thursday Talkback." It's been yet another crazy week at work and while the coming holiday on Monday is nice, it won't help with my workload.

Here's today's Thursday Talkback question:

With the price of gas steadily increasing, do you plan to modify your summer vacation plans??

Yep. We were planning a trip to Disney (haven't told the kids yet), but have adjusted to maybe just going halfway and hitting the beach in Ocean City, MD. Not a bad second choice though, and it will run us less than half of the original plans!

Yup no more cross Canada trip in the new Honda Fit. It will now be a series of short weekend trips...

Definitely has impacted any travel plans. Have a free place to stay in FL, but still...Probably no trips anywhere this year. :(

Not really. But only because we decided not to vacation until we had a rather large nest egg saved. We did not vacation last year either, but went to Maui the year before.

I have to work during the summer while people with kids leave the work for me. Fine with me because traveling in the off-season is cheaper and less-crowded.

I didn't really have any car travel plans. There may be a few plane trips for family events though.

We aren't traveling this summer, but my parents are driving here (1200 miles). My father's birthday and father's day will occur when they are here, so I plan on giving him a hefty gas gift card as a gift. Will help them get home.
