    I like your blog, but I was reading back a little and wondering- are you still in the same financial situation you were in on November 1? If so, then imo, you aren't "really" in debt.
    Are you keeping that much in savings because you have high living expenses?

    @dsp: I am in a much better financial position than I was on Nov 1. I no longer carry credit card debt. I am working on paying off my car loan and student loan now. I keep alot in savings due to having a rental property that may need repairs and I don't want to take on additional debt.

    That makes sense. That's a wise decision, then. Congrats on having no more credit card debt. Neither do I.
